The Corrections Compact allows the Oklahoma Department of Corrections (ODOC) to exchange incarcerated inmates with other states and the Federal Bureau of Prisons when a Corrections Compact contract exists between Oklahoma and the respective jurisdiction. Transfers can be made for safety, security, and compassionate circumstances.

The personally identifiable data is stored both electronically and in confidential paper files. The data is shared in compliance with court orders and agreements with other government bodies.
