Office of Faith-based and Community Initiatives (OFBCI)
The Oklahoma Office of Faith-based and Community Initiatives (OFBCI) partnered with the ODMHSAS to host several focus groups to review, assess and suggest enhancements to the statewide substance abuse prevention services system in Oklahoma. Prior to the focus groups, OFBCI conducted an online survey of registrants to assess the substance abuse and mental health awareness, beliefs, and practices of faith-based communities. The 2012 OFBCI Substance Abuse and Mental Health Survey Report can be accessed here.
The focus groups were held in May and June 2012, a Report of Recommendations to the ODMHSAS was submitted in June 2012.
