The Oklahoma Department of Transportation is seeking public comment on the proposed improvements to SH-9 starting just east of the Kings Creek bridge outside of Whitefield and extending east 4 miles in Haskell County. The open house meeting will be come-and-go with no formal presentation.
The purpose of this project is to reconstruct and add shoulders to the highway as well as improving sight distance. Information about the project can be found online at www.odot.org/publicmeetings.
