This School Food Authority (SFA) operates the National School Lunch Program, the School Breakfast Program, and the After School Snack Program.\
The following areas were corrected prior to the On-Site Portion of this Administrative Review (AR):
· Afterschool Snack Program: The first on-site self-monitoring review was not conducted within the first four weeks of school [as required by federal regulation 7 CFR Part 210.9 (c) (7)]. Prior to the completion of the on-site portion of this AR, Goodland took corrective action by conducting the first on-site self-monitoring review.
· Civil Rights: Goodland Academy was not using the current USDA approved nondiscrimination statement on program materials and on their written procedure for handling civil rights complaints [as required FNS Instruction 113-1]. Prior to the on-site visit Goodland Academy applied to the USDA for a religious exemption.
· Civil Rights – Tool for Gathering Data on Program Participants’ Ethnicity and Race: The enrollment paperwork used to gather data on program participants’ ethnicity and race does not use the federally required two-question format [as required by FNS Instruction 113-1]. Prior to the completion of the on-site portion of this AR, Goodland Academy took corrective action by adding the two-question format to their enrollment application.
· Local Wellness Policy: The local wellness policy provided at the time of the off-site visit did not contain a description of the manner in which the public is provided with the opportunity to participate in the local wellness policy [as required by 7 CFR Part 210.31 (c) (5)]. Prior to the on-site visit, Goodland Academy took corrective action by adding this description.
The local wellness policy had not been assessed within three years [as required by 7 CFR Part 210.31 (e) (2)]. Prior to the on-site visit, Goodland academy took corrective action by assessing and updating their policy.
· Meal Patterns: During the menu week assessed (June 12, 2022 – June 18, 2022) non-systemic insufficient serving sizes were discovered during the lunch menu assessment [7 CFR Part 210.10 (c)]. Prior to the on-site visit, Goodland Academy took corrective actions bring all insufficient serving sizes into compliance with the lunch meal pattern for grades 9 – 12.
· Non-Creditable Item Served as Part of a Lunch: The lunch served on June 13, 2022, was served with a non-creditable meatball product [7 CFR Part 210.10 Appendix C]. Prior to the on-site visit, Goodland Academy took corrective action by replacing the non-creditable item with a meatball produced from a recipe.
No further action is required for the above.
There were no additional findings for this administrative review.

The following areas were corrected during the Procurement Review (PR):
· Micro-Purchase: The procurement activity with Walmart exceeded Goodland Academy’s micro-purchase threshold of $10,000 [2 CFR Part 200.320 (a)]. Prior to the on-site portion of the AR, Goodland Academy took corrective action by adopting a new procurement plan that increased the threshold to $50,000.
· Procurement Plan: The procurement plan provided during the off-site portion of the Administrative Review for Goodland Academy does not document a cost or price analysis being conducted with every procurement action in excess of the small purchase threshold [as required by federal regulation 2 CFR Part 200.323 (a)]. Prior to the AR On-Site visit, Goodland Academy took corrective action by adopting a new procurement plan that is compliant with federal requirements for procurement plans.
No further action is required for the above.
