Dick Conner Correctional Center (DCCC) is a medium-security prison for men located in Hominy. It also has a minimum-security unit on its grounds.
DCCC, which has a capacity of 1,196 people, received its first inmates in 1979, and cost $12.8 million to build. It is one of only eight state prisons originally built to house inmates.
The prison is named after former Oklahoma State Penitentiary Warden and Osage County Sheriff R. B. "Dick" Conner.
DCCC is one of several state prisons that have infirmaries on their grounds. These provide intensive monitoring and treatment for inmates requiring that level of care 24-7.
Visitation
Visitation hours vary by each facility. An inmate's security level dictates how many hours he or she may visit with approved visitors.
At DCCC, visitation takes place on Saturdays, Sundays and all state-recognized holidays.
State-recognized holidays that fall on Monday through Friday are “free” visiting day. An inmate's level will dictate the number of hours an inmate may visit on the free visiting day.
Holidays are free visitation days. That means visits on those days do not count against the total number of hours allowed to an inmate. If a holiday falls on Saturday or Sunday, then the hours will count on the total visiting privilege level hours.
Important Note:All inmate visitors must submit a “Visitor Request Form." You can download a copy here, or request one from the facility. Background checks will be completed on everyone 18 or older. The inmate will notify you when the process is complete. The approval process takes approximately 8 weeks once the Visitor Request Form has been returned to DCCC. All visitors bringing children under the age of 18 to visit will provide documentation; such as a birth certificate, adoption papers, etc. to reflect parentage or guardianship. Once a child reaches 18 years of age, a visiting application will be completed in accordance with Section II. item A. of this procedure in order to be placed on the inmate’s visiting list. Visitation Hours
Holidays will not count toward the total number of visiting hours. Inmates are responsible for contacting their approved visitors regarding visiting hours. Visitation Violations Violating these rules and others may result in loss of visitation privileges on the first offense based on the seriousness of the violation:
