Visit the NHSC websiteOklahoma Office of Primary CareThe Oklahoma Office of Primary Care (PCO) assists health care professionals with student loan repayment through the NHSC program. The NHSC helps build healthy communities by connecting health providers to areas of the United States with limited access to care. Since its inception in 1972, more than 45,000 primary care medical, dental, and mental and behavioral health professionals have served in NHSC sites across the country. Over its 40-year history, the program has recruited over 30,000 physicians and other health professionals to serve in critical areas across the country. The NHSC is a Federal government program administered by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), Bureau of Health Workforce. |
